PARTY PLANNING TIPS
Tip 1) With parties being so much bigger it is often easier to have your party someplace other than your home.  Many communities have very low priced party rooms in their recreation center.  Also most Condo's and Apartments have nice party rooms available.
Tip 2) When deciding who to invite to a child's party under age 8 it is a good rule to never invite more than twice the birthday persons age.  (example age 5 no more than 10 child aged guests)
TIP 3) Try to limit your party to no more than 2or 3 hours.  Otherwise the children will get bored no matter what activities you have planned.
TIP 4) Piniata Troubles:a)A piniata is made from paper mache but is VERY STRONG.  To break a piniata properly you must first put many tiny pin pricks into its body.  Do this the same time you are filling it up with candy.
b) Hanging your piniata is another problem, make sure you are suspending it to a strong place.  Do not hang it off the runners of a drop ceiling (you may knock down the tiles or suspension runners)
c)Make sure the children are a far distance from the child breaking the piniata.
d)Have extra candy available for those children who don't get a chance to pick up enough once the piniata breaks open.
Tip 5) Choosing the right food.  Most children are too excited to eat at a party.  In most cases the ice cream and cake will be more than enough. A simple vegetable tray (celery and carrots) is always something young children will munch on.
If you buy pizza make sure it is plain or one item only.  Most children do not like a variety of things on their pizza.
TIP 6) How to choose a good entertainer.  Referrals from your local library, church or PTA will usually get you someone who is capable of a good performance and a good price.  Make sure your entertainer has liability insurance and has a show suited for your audience age group.

TIP 7) If you are having our bubble show: please remember the following things. a)the full show needs to be done indoors
b) we need a large area at least 6x12 to set up the show
c) for outdoor events we suggest our bubble station, this is a bubble play area for younger children

TIP 8) RSVP: When you send out invitations mark the RSVP very BOLD!!! So it is noticed.  If you are having entertainment, make a note that Entertainment will begin at (2:45) or whatever time you agreed to.  This way people will know to arrive before the show starts.
